Stephen Lee Hugo was born on November
29, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since childhood, Stephen
has devoted his life to the entertainment industry. As a child,
Stephen showed interest in the piano at a very young age. By the
age of 5, Stephen was returning home from church attempting to
play songs that he heard during services. His early love of music
caused him to seek a professional career in the music business.
This led to thousands of live performances at venue such as hotels,
night clubs, and concert halls as well as the release of numerous
CD’s. Stephen was even given the honor of opening for some
of the brightest names in the business including George Benson
and Pat Benetar.
By the late ‘70’s,
Stephen had moved into his next adventure, publishing entertainment
newspapers and magazines throughout Pennsylvania. This new venture
rapidly evolved into a cable TV series; and a syndicated college
capsulated radio show. During this time frame Stephen stayed in
touch with his musical side as well with the addition of a musical
instrument store and a stage and disco lighting company.
All of Stephen’s experiences
up to this point led up to a bold move to New York City where
Stephen was to leave his mark on Broadway. Stephen began producing
Off Broadway Plays with Stephen Bass Productions. After the untimely
death of Mr. Bass, Stephen directed his attention back to the
city he cherished, Pittsburgh, and expanded his already impressive
career.
Stephen was leading life in the
fast lane. After returning to Pennsylvania, he was responsible
for producing several television shows as well as yet another
magazine. During this time, Stephen also made his mark in the
music industry as a member of the then popular Zak Stevens Band.
Stephen also worked as a producer for numerous musical acts as
well as produced fundraisers for schools and other non-profit
charitable organizations. After all of this, not to mention producing
more than 450 television commercials, it was time for a much needed
break, and a move to Arizona.
Shortly after arriving in Arizona,
Stephen found himself bored with the concept of retirement. Stephen
soon met Michael Giannantonio and has since been honing his skills
as a chief producer for Summitstar films. Stephen now finds himself
handling complex issues such as talent negotiations, location
management, product placement and more. With numerous feature
length films already under his belt, Stephen looks forward to
a bright and prosperous future with Summitstar Films.
