Sergio Molay was born on February
3, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State
University as well as The Dallas Institute of Funeral Services
where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Science. He has
worked on many commercials as well as feature films such as “Runaway
Jury” and “DeJaVu.” throughout his years.
Sergio went on to work as a funeral
director and embalmer for L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home
as well as a Second-hand Investigator for Jefferson’s Parish
Coroners Office where he worked with the deceased in numerous
areas including, services coordination and, crime scene investigations,
autopsies, and transportation of the deceased.
Following Hurricane Katrina,
Sergio realized his need to pursue his passion of writing and
directing motion pictures. Sergio researched many states and moved
to Phoenix, AZ where he found a rapidly forming and growing film
industry. Since his arrival, he has worked on motion pictures,
commercials, short live segments and directed his first film.
Sergio is committed to learning the aspects of the motion picture
business and has plans to develop the movies that he has written
over the years. Sergio has proven to be a great addition to the
Summitstar Team.
