Jamie Romley was born on October
13, 1982 in Walnut Creek, California. She moved to Arizona at
the age of twelve when her parents wanted a change. Jamie has
worked within numerous areas of the film industry including the
retail and customer service areas where she was employed as a
projectionist for Century Theatres as well as an assistant manager
for Harkins Theatres.
Jamie attended the Academy of
Art University in San Francisco, California where she received
a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Film and Television with an Emphasis
in Screenwriting. Jamie was fortunate to be taught by numerous
industry professionals. She then went on to work on various student
projects as well as to produce her own film projects. Jamie possesses
a broad range of technical skills relating to the motion picture
industry and utilizes her skills whenever possible.
In the summer of 2006, Jamie
went on to intern for the Weinstein Company where she further
realized her passion for filmmaking. Jamie shares in Summitstar’s
vision and has joined the Summitstar team.
